Nihilism 02:59
The classic plastic face Of a former beauty queen. Just like a Mannequin in a fashion magazine. She's dressed to impress, But there is no guarantee. The pedophile styles of our society. As seen on T.V. It doesn't matter what they say, The only person you're fooling is yourself. Someday it will fade away, And you'll grow old and gray, Like everybody else! He claims authority on what is right and wrong. An ideology from a time that's come and gone. They washed his brain so many times it's fuckin clean. Won't sacrifice my life to your false morality. Keep your mob mentality. Doesn't matter what they say, The only person you're fooling is yourself. You'll get on your knees and pray, But I'll see you in hell like everybody else! Will they ever find their way? Ever learn to stop and think for themselves? Can't help wondering today, Am I different or like everybody else?
2.
Chasing enemies that probably don't even exist, Brain washing all the children they bred to enlist. Leaders spin their failures, And play dress up for success. Put on a show for those so easily impressed. Chorus: You say, I'm free. Oh but not to disagree. A malady of apathy worse than ever before. No end, in sight. Just another Tuesday night. With common sense among the casualties of war. Another chance to reach an all time low. Feels like I'm living in a 50-State freak show! Cyanide or Genocide? A Gunshot to the head. Or leave them all to die inside a sea of red?
3.
I never should have told you who I ran into. He says he's your best friend And he really misses you. I asked you what went wrong You said you'd had enough. And now I really wish I would've kept my big mouth shut. I should not have been, so ignorant. I started this, pointless argument. I don't want this, to last forever. So I'll see you, when this all blows over. This things gotten so big now That it's out of my hands. I'm the one that started it But I can't make it end. I wish there was something That I could do to help. But I'll sit in my room, Wait it out and maybe time will tell.
4.
Now and Then 02:17
I've let you down, Way too many times. Give me a chance, It'll be alright. I'll make it up, Swear I will somehow. I don't know when... But how about now? Could you let me in And turn inside out. Just tell me everything. Just scream it out loud. I want to listen, If you would just speak. Whatever it takes. I'm not gonna leave. Where will be In a few more years? As long as you're with me, Then I don't care where. But still you worry, Again and again. What our futures like, Lets worry about it then.
5.
Overdue 02:43
I wish I could forget. The things that I regret. I gave you all my love, And got none in return. Don't wanna make amends. This isn't 'Let's be friends.' I love and lost, the highest cost Another lesson learned. And I'm sorry. But it's over. And there's no reason for me. To wait around for you. And I'm sorry. But it's over. And there's nothing you can say. That won't be overdue. This time I've had enough. No more kiss and make up. It's not another fight This time I'm really gone. You are the last mistake. I hope I ever make. So dry your eyes its no surprise, You were lying all along!
6.
So first of all, I don't agree with you! Second of all, you don't have a clue. You think you have, it all figured out! You have no clue, what it's all about. And it drags on and on And it drags on and on And it drags on. I didn't write these things So you could turn them ass backwards Your interpretation has got to be The worst I've ever heard. You have your right to an opinion, But does it have to always be so dumb You slur my words and you just wont quit. I've said you're wrong, but still you say it!
7.
Once Again 03:20
I woke up you were gone. What did I do wrong? Why did you have to go? Just why did you leave? Was it because of me? I really wish you'd let me know. When I close my eyes, I'm in hell with you. It's like you're home once again. I open my eyes. I'm in hell without you. I'm all alone once again. I tried to call you. But didn't want too. Now my backs against the wall. Didn't make a change. Don't know who's to blame. I really wish I'd made that call!
8.
In Your Head 03:25
You have to keep down all, Of those things. Cause they're not worth your time, Or your pain. You can confide in me, But I'm not so sure. You should tell the one That you prefer. So hold back now its not worth All the things that you've said. I don't wanna see you hurt. Keep those three words in your head. You started feeling this way, So long ago. That's something I'm not sure That you still know. I can't stop the decisions That you make. Just make sure its not more than You can take.
9.
These bands are all the same. Nothing special just lame. How did things get so bad? Why did it have to be this fad? I'm gonna leave, Cause I stand out. Won't feed the scene. It's never been cool To be part of a crowd. I'm really getting sick. Of all this same old shit. Now that they've gone mainstream I think I miss the 90s! I'm gonna leave. Cause I stand out. Won't feed the scene. It's never been cool To be part of a crowd. KILL THE SCENE!
10.
They're worshiping something that, They don't even know is there. I have nothing watching over me But I don't really care. It's like being in between. Awake and asleep. I choose to wake up But you always choose to dream. Waste their lives on something They don't even know is real. Embracing a feeling That they'll probably never feel. I don't what'll happen to me. The day that I fall. Seeing is believing And I don't see anything at all. They say I'm going to hell But I'm not worried about this. How the hell can I go somewhere If it doesn't exist? Cause I'm always wondering If we'll ever know, Is there something out there or Is it all for show?
11.
You know that you're not the only one, Dealing with, so many problems. I'm so glad, we're on the same page. Cause you're too old, To be acting this age! So keep your distance from me. And I'll try not to drag you down. I'll keep my distance from you. So please try not to drag me down. You say that, you wanna come clean. And I know exactly what you mean. Cause things aren't, the same anymore. Let's give up, this relationships a bore!
12.
So there you are, I didn't know who you were. And maybe things have changed, But maybe its for the worst. Cause I've never seen this side of you before. And I can't stand it anymore. I finally found the words to say, I don't want you around. And I'm better off anyway, Because you drag me down. If I stayed with you I would be, Six feet underground. I finally found the words to say. I don't want you around. So here I am, exactly who I've been. And maybe things have changed. But maybe its not them. Cause I've never see this side of you before. And I can't stand it anymore. I finally found the words to say, I don't want you around. And I'm better off anyway, Because you drag me down. If I stayed with you I would be, Six feet underground. I finally found the words to say. I don't want you around.
13.
I'm so tired of all your shit. I can't believe how long I've dealt with it. Gonna wait for the right time to make my move. Kick you while you're down, You won't get well soon. I'm going to make you feel Worse than you've ever felt before. And bring you so much pain Until you can't take it anymore. I heard that you were feeling bad I'm gonna make this the best I've ever had. Gonna bring you down until you've had too much Keep pushing oh I just can't get enough. I'm going to make you feel Worse than you've ever felt before. And bring you so much pain Until you can't take it anymore.

Death of Me 02:58
What was I thinking? I should have known it was doomed at the start. Now that you're gone I don't know what I'll do. I can't carry on, or find someone new. All you did was take all I had to give. My meaning of life and my reason to live. It all went to waste now you're just a lie. I'm looking toward death you're my reason to die. What was I thinking? I should have known you would break my heart. And now that you're gone I dunno what I'll do. I can't carry on, or find someone new.
15.
Laterz 03:03
You know I have to leave. So let's say our goodbye's for now. If it were up to me. I'd find a way to stay some how. So could you just hold on? I'll try my best not to do my worst. I might not take so long. I guess for everything there is a first. You know absence. It makes the heart grow fonder. You know I cant. Seem to wait any longer. I wouldn't guess. How long the time could be. Don't hold your breath. You'll just have too wait and see! I look back at the past. And maybe I'll learn from my mistakes. Time might just go by fast. Or I'll get stuck running in place. But when I'm back again, I do hope you still are the same. I'll tell you how I've been, And you'll be so glad that I came!

Lead the Way 02:56
Remember when we first went through that night? We were close at the beginning, But we drifted away. I went ahead too fast and you found another guy. When we came out at the end, We had nothing left to say. Chorus Moving through this thing I can't help but fear. Loud noises surround me, But you were the only thing that I could hear. I know that one of us has to Lead to make it through. So let me be the one, let me Lead the way for you. After time passed we decided to try again. I took your hand and time started to move slow. The lights started flashing as we sank deeper in. We started to drift away again but I didn't let go.

about

Lameocracy is Losers of the Year second full length album. Part political commentary, part inspired by the lives and events surrounding the band at a crucial time in their career; the album reflects LOTY's coming of age as musicians and song writers. It also represents a giant leap forward from the bands previous album in every regard.

Recorded in a studio built by the band members from the ground up; 'Lameocracy' is an album that balances the personal with the political.
